Hall of Fame
Tim, a high school graduate of Omaha South, came to Peru State College as a freshman in the fall of 1964. During his time as a member of the Bobcat cross country and track teams, he was a standout and set several individual and team records. Two of the cross country teams of which Tim was a part placed in the top ten at the national meets. At the 1967 NCC championship, he was the individual cross country champion.
After finishing at PSC, Tim competed in the 1970 World Cross Country Championship at Vichy, France. He finished thirty-seventh individually, and his team achieved fifth place overall. Tim continued to run and competed in the 1972 U.S. Olympic Trails. He capped off his career with a second-place finish in the marathon at the 1976 U.S. Track and Field championship.
Hendricks retired in 2006 after serving as a cross country and track coach at the University of Nebraska-Omaha for nineteen years.
