Hall of Fame
Jack Mcintire enjoyed great success as an athlete, high school coach, and college coach at PSC. He earned 10 letters and was All-State in football and basketball, graduating in 1941. He was inducted into the NAIA football Hall of Fame in ’57.
He was high school “Coach of the year” for Lincoln and Omaha papers in ’56 at Fall City High. That fall he returned to his alma mater and was college “Coach of the year” in ’61 and ’63. His basketball team won 250 games with four national tournament appearances. He also coached football, track and cross country and was the athletic director, before retiring in 1973.
