Red Oak, Iowa’s Ross Pilkington’s star shown in a variety of ways at PSC- in football, track, as an honor student, and president of the “p” Club. His record for the longest punt return of 90 yards set in 1959 still stands today. While playing defense, Pilkington once intercepted seven passes in one game, which tied a PSC record.
Following his graduation from PSC, Pilkington spent over 40 years in secondary and higher education with 30 years being at UNO. He was twice recognized as a teacher excellence winner.
