A threat to score each time he touched the football Roosevelt Brown was a record-setting NAIA All -American during his career from 1977-’80. Brown gained nearly 2,500 receiving yards almost 5000 all-purpose yards and he averaged over 16 yards per punt return and over 25 yards per kickoff return at PSC. His senior season saw Brown record 19 touchdowns and nearly 1,000 receiving yards as the Cats finished 9-1. Brown was a first-team NAIA All –American that year.
