Homer Hatcher was a remarkable two- sport athlete at PSC who displayed championship style during his 1929-33 career. An exceptional passer and multiple threat in football, he achieved All- Conference status four straight years as quarterback and guided the Bobcats to the 1932 NIAA crown. ‘Hatch’ also ranked among the best early Peruvian forwards in basketball, earning All-Conference honors twice and topping the five-school league in scoring his junior season. After a brief pro football and basketball career, he enjoyed a teaching career which spanned 35 years. He retired in 1972 in Glendale, Calif. And passed away in 1980.
