Tyler Ford was selected as the August Bobcat Male Athlete of the Month.

Ford, a senior offensive lineman for the Peru State football team, was named as the August Male Student Athlete of the Month for having been named to three preseason All-American football teams.  The most recent preseason honor was the 2014 Collegiate Development Football League (CDFL) which was selected by the “D2 vs. NAIA Challenge” Bowl committee and the 2015 “Team America” coaching staff.
 
In addition, Ford was named to the 2014 Football Gameplan (FBGP) Preseason NAIA All-American team and as a 2014 USA Football Networks, Inc. Preseason All-American.  The criminal justice - administration major was named as an American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) NAIA First Team All-American following the 2013 football season.
