Greg Conry was selected as the Bobcat Male Athlete of the Month for September.
It was Conry’s late-game heroics that came on a 35-yard field goal with 58 seconds left in the game giving the Bobcats a 23-21 victory over then-No. 19 Friends University (Kan.) on Sept. 13 in the NAIA Football Game of the Week. Conry ended the game making three of three field goals, including kicks of 31, 34, and 35 yards. In addition, he converted two of two PAT attempts and had six kickoffs averaging 62.7 yards per kick, including three touchbacks.

For his efforts, Conry first earned Heart of America Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors. This was followed the next day by the NAIA naming Conry as the NAIA’s Special Teams Player of the Week.
