Peru State College Athletics

Peru State athletic director recently announced that Claire Cudney (Marysville, Kan.) and Nick Brannon (Las Vegas) were selected as the Bobcat student-athletes of the month for February.
                                
Cudney and Brannon – both seniors – were consistent performers on the basketball teams during the month of February.
 
A 6-3 guard, Brannon scored in double figures in seven of ten contests which included a season-high 30 points against William Penn (Iowa) in the final regular season game of the year. He also had four games in which he grabbed more than ten rebounds with his 20 rebounds against William Penn again being a season- and career-best for Brannon.
 
In the NAIA Top 50 Individual rankings, Brannon is listed twice as this release. He is 22^nd in offensive rebounds per game (2.875) and 31^st in total rebounds per game (7.792).
 
Albury stated, “Not only did Claire and Nick help their teams on the court, but they are excellent students in the classroom. They are good role models for all Bobcat student-athletes.”
