(Cedar Rapids, Iowa)- The Peru State men's bowling team competed this past weekend at the
Five Seasons Classic, hosted by Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, finishing 12th in both the NAIA (4-6 head-to-head) and USBC standings in a challenging 16-team field. The Bobcats were led by an exceptional performance from
Grayson Martin, who rolled games of 217, 227, 179, 243, and 223 for a total pinfall of 1089 and a 217.8 average. His effort earned him
sixth place out of 203 bowlers, finishing just one pin shy of an All-Tournament Team spot.
Will Fraser added a strong showing with a 965 total and 193 average to place 34th, while
Carson Pierce followed closely with 928 total pins and a 185.6 average, good for 43rd. Rounding out Peru State's scoring were

Zach Page (533),
Austin Watts (299),
Ethan Crecelius (158), and
Ryan Hendrickson (150).
In Baker play, the Bobcats recorded a 4-6 head-to-head record. They opened with two strong winning blocks, posting sets of 750 (203, 189, 201, 157) and 571 (118, 113, 189, 151). Despite competitive efforts, the final three blocks resulted in losses, with Peru State turning in sets of 601, 685, and 655 to close out the day.
