(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State men's bowling team competed over the weekend at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge, finishing 17th overall in a strong field of 17 programs.
Leading the way for the Bobcats was Will Fraser, who turned in a consistent performance across all five traditional games. Fraser rolled a total of 996 pins, averaging 199.2 per game, which earned him a 32nd-place individual finish out of 231 bowlers. Noah Stone followed with 753 total pins and an average of 188.25, highlighted by back-to-back 200+ games to close out the set.
Grayson Martin and Carson Pierce each contributed key series to the team total, finishing with 658 and 656 pins respectively, while Austin Watts added a strong showing with a 234 in the final game of the block.
As a team, Peru State posted individual game scores of 960, 803, 830, 878, and 975 for a total pinfall of 4,446 and a 889 team average.
In Baker play, the Bobcats recorded a combined 2,552 pins over four 4-game blocks, averaging 159.5. Their best Baker block came in the opening set with a total of 699, led by consistent shot-making across all four games.
