(Peru, Neb.)- Peru State Womens' Basketball Kylie Diaz was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season and seventh Player of the Week honor overall.

The award was based on her performance last Saturday in Peru State's 77–50 win over William Penn. Diaz recorded 17 rebounds and three blocks, scored 22 points, and shot 46.2 percent from the field.

During the game, Diaz broke the Peru State career blocks record. She now holds the program record with 182 career blocks.
