(Lawrence, Kan.)- The Peru State Women's Bowling team competed at the NAIA Midwest Open on February 1
st and 2
nd.

Day 1
Â
The team finished in 4
th after totaling 4313 pins and having a 2-3 Matchplay record.
Â
Makenzie Millard recorded 955 pins over 5 games, averaging 191, to finish in 6
th, just 3 pins shy of the All-Tournament Team.
Kaitlyn Doyal finished 9th with 932 pins over 5 games, averaging 186. Aliea Crandall placed 18th, bowling 884 pins in 5 games for a 176 average.
Abby Yates ranked 83rd with 427 pins over 3 games, averaging 142.
Mindy Bartels finished 87th with 356 pins in 2 games, for an average of 178. Ashley Pfiefer took 92nd with 320 pins in 2 games, averaging 160.
Adria Huiett placed 96th with 303 pins over 2 games, for a 151 average. Lastly,
Peyton Gonzales rounded out the list in 103rd, having 136 pins in 1 game, with a 136 average.

Â
On the second day, the tournament was ranked by match play totals. The NAIA portion recognized the Win/Loss records, as each 5-game block was against a different opponent. The USBC awards points for total pins knocked down.

The team went 5-0 in head-to-head and totaling 4327 total pin fall. The Bobcats placed 14
th in total pins (USBC). The team finished the tournament in 8
th overall. Â
