(Waterloo, Iowa)- The Peru State Women's Bowling Team bowled in Waterloo, Iowa at the Cedar Valley Invite on Saturday, February 8th. The Bobcats competed in 3-team games and 3 sets of 4-Baker games at the meet. The team would finish 5th at the tournament with a 5-1 Matchplay record (3-0 in Team games, 2-1 in Baker games). They would finish 7th in USBC points which are based on total pinfall.
Individually:
Makenzie Millard, a junior, finished in 24th place with a total of 556 points over 3 games, averaging 185.3 per game. Aleia Crandall, also a junior, placed 42nd with 510 points over 3 games, averaging 170 per game. Abby Yates, a freshman, came in 54th with 486 points over 3 games, averaging 162 per game. Kaitlyn Doyal, another junior, took 60th with 476 points over 3 games, averaging 158.7 per game. Mindy Bartels, a junior, finished in 75th with 335 points over 2 games, averaging 169.5 per game. Lastly, Peyton Gonzales, a freshman, secured 85th place with 174 points in 1 game, averaging 174 per game. Adria Huiett and Ashley Pfeifer would also contribute to the Bobcats in the Baker portion of the competition.
Next: The Bobcats will be at the Heart Conference Championships in Columbia, Missouri on February 22nd and 23rd. The meet will be held at AMF Town and Country Lanes.
