(Peru, Neb.)- On Tuesday, November 18th, the Heart of America Athletic Conference named its Football All- Conference Award winners. Twelve Bobcat football players earned All-Conference Awards including a Freshman of the Year Award.

Nate Ortega earned Heart North Freshman of the Year for his role on the Bobcats Defense. Ortega accumulated 47 total tackles this season with 32 being solo tackles. He averaged 4.3 tackles per game and had 6 interceptions for a total of 93 yards and six broken-up passes.

st Team (Offensive Line)

Baker (Sr., St. Augustine, FL) earned First Team All- Conference for his role on the Bobcats offensive line. He helped the Bobcats offense to 4288 total offensive yards, including 1542 rushing yards.

Livingston (Jr., St. Louis, MO) earned Second Team All-Conference as a running back. He had 111 rushes for 584 rushing yards, averaging 73 per game and scoring two touchdowns this season.

Sturn (Fr., Warner Robins, GA) earned Second Team All-Conference. He had 32 receptions for a total of 617 yards, averaging 56.1 yards per game. He racked up eight touchdowns this season with the longest being 60 yards.

Washington (Sr., Pleasantville, N.J.) earned First Team All-Conference for his role on the Defensive Line. He had 27 total tackles for the Bobcats with 16 being solo tackles averaging 2.7 tackles per game. During the season, he had four sacks for 40 yards and 8.5 tackles for loss of 47 yards.
