(Peru, Neb.)- On Tuesday, November 18th, the Heart of America Athletic Conference named its Football All- Conference Award winners. Twelve Bobcat football players earned All-Conference Awards including a Freshman of the Year Award.
 
Nate Ortega earned Heart North Freshman of the Year for his role on the Bobcats Defense. Ortega accumulated 47 total tackles this season with 32 being solo tackles. He averaged 4.3 tackles per game and had 6 interceptions for a total of 93 yards and six broken-up passes.
 
 
Three Bobcats earned Offensive All-Conference Awards.
 
Amahd Baker- 1^st Team (Offensive Line)
 
Baker (Sr., St. Augustine, FL) earned First Team All- Conference for his role on the Bobcats offensive line. He helped the Bobcats offense to 4288 total offensive yards, including 1542 rushing yards.
 
Stacian Livingston- 2^nd Team (Running Back)
 
Livingston (Jr., St. Louis, MO) earned Second Team All-Conference as a running back. He had 111 rushes for 584 rushing yards, averaging 73 per game and scoring two touchdowns this season.
 
Chaz Sturn- 2^nd Team (Wide Receiver)
 
Sturn (Fr., Warner Robins, GA) earned Second Team All-Conference. He had 32 receptions for a total of 617 yards, averaging 56.1 yards per game. He racked up eight touchdowns this season with the longest being 60 yards.
 
Tomorrian Knight- 2^nd Team (Offensive Line)

Zahir Washington- 1^st Team (Defensive Line)
 
Washington (Sr., Pleasantville, N.J.) earned First Team All-Conference for his role on the Defensive Line. He had 27 total tackles for the Bobcats with 16 being solo tackles averaging 2.7 tackles per game. During the season, he had four sacks for 40 yards and 8.5 tackles for loss of 47 yards.
 
Duke McClinton- 1^st Team (Defensive Back)
 
McClinton (Jr., Warren Robbins, GA) earned First Team All-Conference as a Defensive Back this season. He had 61 total tackles with 43 solo tackles for an average of 5.5 tackles per game. McClinton tallied 2.5 tackles for loss, 1 interception and broken up passes this season.
 
Ja-Quez Oliver- 2^nd Team (Linebacker)
 
Oliver (So., Ocala, FL) earned Second Team All-Conference as a Linebacker. He had 55 total tackles, 34 being solo tackles for an average of 5.0 tackles per game. Oliver also tallied 1.5 sacks and 7.0 tackles for a total loss of seven yards.
 
One Bobcat Earned a Special Teams All-Conference Award.
 
Parker Cushing- 1^st Team (Kicker & Punter)
 
Cushing (Fr., Houston, TX) earned two First Team All-Conference as both a Punter and Kicker. As a Kicker, Cushing had a 94% kicking percentage after making 15 of 16 field goals with the longest being 39 yards. He also had a 92% extra point attempt percentage making 33 of 39 attempts. As a Punter, Cushing had 43 punts for 1488 yards, averaging 34.6 yards. The longest was 57 yards. He had 11 be within 20 and only 1 touchback this season.
