(Peru, Neb.)- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Fall Sports Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday, November 19th. The Peru State Football team had eleven athletes earn the award.

Student-Athletes must achieve a minimum grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, have reached the eligibility requirements and been at their institution for a year to be qualified for the award.

Zahir Washington (Sr., Pleasantville, N.J.) and
MJ Nelson (Jr., Nebraska City, NE) have earned the award for the third time with
Quinton Rowell (Jr., Raytown, MO)Â earning the award for the second time.

Andy Maloley (So., Pawnee City, NE),
Bryant Thomas (So., Hinesville, GA),
Colton Cerveny (So., Ashland, NE),
Dominic Winn (Sr., Lincoln, NE),
Hijiri Kuwabara (Sr., Tokyo, Japan),
Marquise Cooper (Jr., Philadelphia, PA),
Stanley Whipple (So., Lake Wales, FL) and
William Wallace (So., Lawrenceville, GA) each earned the award for the first time.
