Peru State College Athletics

Marisa Pribnow (Lincoln) and Corday Sims (Chicago) were recently named as the Peru State Bobcat Athletes of the Month for March. The honors were announced by athletic director Steve Schneider.

Pribnow earned the recognition for having been named twice as the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week. Sims receives the honor as he was selected to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I Men’s Basketball All-America Second Team.
                  
A sophomore, Pribnow won back-to-back recognition as the conference’s golfer of the week. Most recently, Pribnow was recognized for finishing fourth in the Nebraska Wesleyan Spring Invite. Pribnow had rounds of 84 and 77 for a two-day total of 161 and moved from a tie for seventh to a tie for fourth.

When announcing Pribnow and Sims, Schneider congratulated them on their success on the golf course and on the basketball court.
