Peru State College Athletics

Will Scott (Defuniak Springs, Fla.) was recently announced as Peru State College's (PSC) March's Male Athlete of the Month by Athletic Director Steve Schneider.
 
Scott is the leading pitcher for the Bobcats and was named Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Pitcher of the Week during March.

Scott earned his HAAC honors when he threw a one-hit shutout over Mayville State in the Metrodome Classic.  In the win, Scott struck out a career-high 11 Mayville batters.

Presently, Scott is 4-3 on the season and has the team's best ERA at 3.45 and has the most strikeouts with 41.
In the HAAC, Scott finds himself among the leaders in several categories including:  tied for seventh in strikeouts (41); tied for seventh in total wins (4); eighth in ERA (3.45); ninth in opponents' batting (.229); ninth in hits allowed per game (7.71); 11^th in innings pitched (44.1); 11^th in batters struck out per game (8.32); tied for 11^th in total hits (38); 14^th in total earned runs (17); and 17^th in innings pitched per game (4.93).
