(Peru, Neb.)- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the recipients of the 2025 National Awards Day honors, celebrating student-athletes, athletics personnel, and programs across the association. These annual awards highlight excellence in competition, leadership, service, and academics, showcasing the best of the NAIA community.
Among the most prestigious academic recognitions, the NAIA Scholar Team Award is presented to teams that achieve a collective grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, as defined by their institution. The calculation includes the GPA of all varsity-eligible student-athletes listed on the eligibility certificate.
Peru State proudly had nine programs earn the NAIA Scholar Team Award for the 2024–25 academic year:
Women's Golf – 3.75
Women's Bowling – 3.65
Women's Cross Country – 3.61
Softball – 3.61
Women's Volleyball – 3.46
Baseball – 3.45
Men's Bowling – 3.37
Women's Basketball – 3.34
