(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State volleyball team put together a dominant performance on Saturday afternoon, sweeping Clarke University (25-9, 25-21, 25-14) inside the AWAC to earn their fourth Heart of America Athletic Conference victory of the season.
The Bobcats came out firing in the opening set, hitting an impressive .364 while holding the Pride to a -.139 percentage. Peru State carried that momentum throughout the match, finishing with a .247 attack efficiency compared to Clarke's -.050.
Kalolaine Pasikala led the charge offensively, finishing with 10 kills on .529 hitting. Kennedy Miller followed closely with five kills, two blocks, and one ace for eight total points. Shealie Wiebers added six kills, six digs, and a pair of service aces, while setter Teodora Bulatovic paced the offense with 15 assists and an ace. Sami Chesley added 11 assists and two aces to round out a strong setting performance.
At the service line, Peru State tallied eight aces—three coming in the opening set alone. Defensively, the Bobcats recorded six total blocks, highlighted by Addison Schneider's three block assists and a solo block from Brinley Falkinburg.
