(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State Baseball Team completed their season under the leadership of
Blake Beaber in his second season. The Bobcats posted a 12-20 Heart of America Conference Record and an 18-31 overall record.

The Bobcats saw success throughout the season with big wins over (RV) Bellevue University and (RV) MidAmerica Nazarene and a series sweep over Graceland University at home.

Kevin Diaz led the Bobcats pitching this season. He was third in the conference for strikeouts with 72 and averaged 8.68 per nine innings. He had an ERA of 4.10, which was sixth in the conference.
Blake Denson completed the season with six wins and 45 strikeouts for an average of 6.23 per nine innings. He had a WHIP of 1.60 and ERA of 6.65.

Antonio Benitez was a standout this season, earning All-Conference Honorable Mention. Benitez led the Bobcats with a .376 batting average, tallying 62 hits including 17 doubles and six homeruns and 21 RBI's. Additionally, he led the conference in stolen bases with 24 and had a total of 40 runs for the Bobcats.
Gustavo Rivera also earned All-Conference Honorable Mention, leading the team in RBI's with 38 and was 16
th in conference for home runs as he tallied nine this season.

In addition to Benitez and Rivera earning Heart of America All-Conference honors, 11 Bobcats were named 2025 Daktronics NAIA Spring Sports Scholar-Athletes.
