(Peru, Neb.)- On Friday, September 6th, the Peru State Men's Cross-Country team kicked off their season at the Platte River Rumble in Ashland, Neb. The team placed 7th at the meet with a total 6k time of 2:44:36.40, averaging 32:55.28.
 
Brady VanBoening, a sophomore from Holdrege, Nebraska, finished 83rd with a time of 22:43.86.
 
Kyler Carraher, a freshman from Franklin, Nebraska, finished 85^th with a time of 23:18.41.
 
Gavin Smith, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, finished 85th with a time of 23:18.41. 
 
Ty Brockhaus, a sophomore from Lincoln, Nebraska, finished 87th with a time of 24:51.56.
 
Brandon Kristensen, a junior from Wausa, Nebraska, finished 88^th with a time of 27:41.32.
 
Kaden Morton, a freshman from Hiawatha, Kansas, finished 89^th with a time of 28:21.89.
 
Jason Nguyen, a freshman from Hastings, Nebraska, finished 90^th with a time of 28:39.59.
 
Austen Janssen, a junior from Newcastle, Nebraska, finished 91st with a time of 29:12.61.  
 
Kohl Rutherford, a sophomore from North Platte, Nebraska, finished 92nd with a time of 30:33.64.
