(Lawrence, Kan.)- On Saturday, October 12th, the Peru State Men's Cross Country team travelled to Lawrence, Kansas for the Billy Mayes Classic hosted by Haskell Indian Nations University. The team placed 5th at the meet with total team 8k time of 2:53:36 and an average time of 34:43.26.
Brady VanBoening, a sophomore from Holdrege, Nebraska, finished 28th with a time of 29:36.20.
Gavin Smith, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, finished 42nd with a time of 34:43.2.
Steve Enriquez, a freshman, finished 43rd with a time of 35:10.4.
Brandon Kristensen, a junior from Wausa, Nebraska, finished 46th with a time of 36:47.1.
Jason Nguyen, a freshman from Hastings, Nebraska, finished 47th with a time of 37:19.4.
Kohl Rutherford, a sophomore from North Platte, Nebraska, finished 48th with a time of 37:30.9.
Austen Janssen, a junior from Newcastle, Nebraska, finished 49th with a time of 40:49.4.
