(Lawrence, Kan.)- On Saturday, October 12th, the Peru State Women's Cross Country team travelled to Lawrence, Kansas for the Billy Mayes Classic hosted by Haskell Indian Nations University. The team placed 5th at the meet with total team 5k time of 1:53:52 and an average time of 22:46.43.
Amyra Moxey, a junior from Louisville, Neb., finished 28th with a time of 21:38.58.
Lydia Lang, a sophomore from Palmyra, Neb., finished 29th with a time of 21:43.26.
Sophie O'Neil, a freshman, finished 37th with a time of 23:07.61.
Emma Larson, a junior from Fremont, Neb., finished 38th with a time of 23.25.09.
Ashley Carlton, a freshman from Kearney, Nebraska, finished 39th with a time of 23:57.59.
Britany Lofton, a freshman from Lodgepole, Nebraska, finished 40th with a time of 24:02.10.
Cassie Harrington, a freshman from Uehling, Nebraska, finished 41st with a time of 24:05.36.
Phoebe Wilson, a senior from Council Bluffs, Iowa, finished 43rd with a time of 25:56.84.
Phoebe Hruska, a freshman from Omaha, Nebraska, finished 46th with a time of 27:11.84.
Madison Wittwer, a senior from Columbus, Nebraska, finished 48th with a time of 29:47.10.
