(Peru, Neb.) – It was Senior Night for the Bobcat volleyball team and the seniors, along with their teammates, did not disappoint their parents, fans, and Halloween guests!

th game of the season. This is the most wins since the 2002 season when the Bobcats won 28 games.

Rachael West (behind) Game Action The Royals took at early 2-0 lead in the first set, but later, after the score was tied at 4-4, Peru State went on a 3-0 run and never looked back. The 'Cats led by as many as 14 at 23-9 and the set ended when
Rachael West (El Dorado, Kan.) put down a kill on an assist from
Courtney Jurek (Bellevue). Grace took at early 5-3 lead in the second set only to see Peru State tie it at 5-5 when
Bre Brandt (Papillion) got a kill off an assist from
Meg Grose (Peoria, Ariz.). The 'Cats continued to just pull away in the set and it ended with Brandt and
Nicole Soifua (West Point, Utah) blocking a Royal attack.

Hull finished with a game-high 16 digs.Peru State led early in the third set and led by as many as eight at 14-6 after a Grace hitting error. However, the Royals did close it to within five on two occasions, and were trailing 22-17 before Brandt put down an overpass to make it 23-17.
Rian Kirby (Gretna) ended the game with a kill coming off an assist from Grose.
Statistics Brandt was the only Bobcat to finish with double-digit kills as she had a game-high 13 while hitting .333. West added seven while
Carrie Lierz (Holton, Kan.) finished with six.
Lea Boras (Makarska, Croatia) added five kills while hitting .455.
Jurek finished with 18 assists while Grose finished with 17.
Hope Harsh (Cassoday, Kan.) had two service aces while Jurek and Grose each contributed one.
Mallory Hull (Morse Bluff) was the game's defensive leader as she finished with 16 digs while
Shannon Liewer (Imperial) added 11.
Jennifer Ostrowski (Kankakee, Ill.) had two solo blocks with Soifua and Brandt each adding one solo block. Soifua added four block assists with West and Ostrowski each having three block assists. Brandt and Boras each finished with two block assists.

Allison Glathar (Dawson) has served as an assistant coach this past year while Soifua, Harsh, West, Brandt, Hull, Jurek, and Lierz played in their final home game in a Bobcat uniform.
Each was presented with their framed jersey, photos, and roses, and was introduced to the Halloween crowd.
Upcoming Games The Bobcats will be on the road Tuesday night when they travel to Marshall, Mo., to face Missouri Valley College. Game time with the Vikings in the final regular season contest is 7 p.m. Presently, Mo Valley is 18-14 overall and are in a four-way tie with the 'Cats for sixth in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
The top eight teams will advance to play in the post-season. It appears the top four seeds, which will host home contests, are pretty much set. The four teams in a tie for sixth will be playing for fifth through eighth seeds. The opening round game is set for Saturday, Nov. 8. The final seeding will not be determined until the conclusion of the conference regular season on Tuesday night.
