(Fayette, Mo.)- In a tough conference volleyball showdown on November 1, 2025, the Peru State Bobcats were outplayed by the Central Methodist Eagles, culminating in a 1-3 loss in Fayette, Missouri. 

The opening set saw the Bobcats struggle to find their rhythm as they fell behind early, ultimately dropping the set 11-25. Continuing into the second set, the Eagles maintained their momentum, defeating Peru State 14-25. However, the third set showcased a resilient Bobcat squad that fought back to take a 25-22 win, momentarily shifting the match dynamics in their favor. Unfortunately, in the fourth and final set, Central Methodist regained control and secured the match with a convincing 25-14 win over Peru State.

Key performances for the Bobcats included Shealie Wiebers, who led the team with 9 kills. Kennedy Miller and Eden Moore both contributed significantly, each delivering 4 kills. On the defensive front, Miller stood out with 1 solo block and 5 assisted blocks, backed by Addison Schneider and Alejandra Villareal, who added 5 and 4 assisted blocks, respectively. In the digging department, Villareal, along with team members Sami Chesley and Marina Fenga, showcased commendable efforts despite the tough opposition.
