(Marshall, Mo.)- The Peru State volleyball team put together an efficient offensive performance Friday night, defeating Missouri Valley in four sets (23-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-20) in Heart of America Athletic Conference action.
After dropping a close opening set, the Bobcats responded with three straight set wins to secure the road victory. Peru State hit an impressive .308 as a team, totaling 58 kills on 133 attacks.
Eden Moore led the charge with a standout .560 hitting percentage, recording 14 kills and adding two blocks. Shealie Wiebers also made her mark with 16 kills and nine digs, while Addison Schneider added eight kills on a .533 clip.
Setter Sami Chesley kept the offense moving with 27 assists, 10 digs, and an ace, while Alina Hoxha contributed 18 assists of her own. Marina Fenga provided a spark from the service line with four aces and eight digs.
Defensively, the Bobcats tallied 10 total blocks, including three solo efforts from Brinley Falkinburg and two from Kennedy Miller.
