(Peru, Neb.)- Kylie Diaz of the Peru State College Bobcats has been named the Heart of America Conference Defensive Player of the Week, presented by WinWon Technologies. This honor also marks Diaz's ninth career Heart Player of the Week award.

Diaz showcased her defensive dominance during the week, pulling down 11 defensive rebounds, recording five steals, and adding three blocks in the Bobcats' victory over Clarke University. Her impact extended on the offensive end as well, scoring 30 points and shooting an efficient 57.9% in Saturday's win.
