(Peru, Neb.)- Peru State men's basketball Denim Johnson has been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, following his performance in last Saturday's 88–84 win over William Penn.
 
Johnson anchored the Bobcats' defense with three steals and two blocks, while adding four rebounds in the victory. He also contributed offensively, scoring 11 points on 66.7 percent shooting and dishing out two assists.
