(Peru, Neb)- On Friday, May 2^nd, the Heart of America Athletic Conference named its Baseball All- Conference Award winners. Two Bobcat Baseball players earned All-Conference Awards.
 
Gustavo Rivera, a senior from Bayamon, Puerto Rico, earned All-Conference Honorable Mention as a catcher. Rivera had 40 hits with 38 RBI's this season having a .272 batting average and scoring 19 runs for the Bobcats. Defensively, he had a .987 fielding percentage on the year.
 
Antonio Benitez, a junior from Carolina, Puerto Rico, earned All-Conference Honorable Mention as an Outfielder. Benitez tallied 62 hits and 21 RBI's with only 19 strikeouts, batting a .376 this season. He scored 40 runs and had 24 stolen bases this season and had  a fielding percentage of .962.
