(Des Moines, Iowa)- The Peru State Softball team fell to the Grand View Vikings in their two-game series on Friday afternoon. The Bobcats are now 4-18 in the Heart of America Conference and 9-33 overall.

Game 1 (Peru State 0 – Grand View 5)

The Bobcats managed just one hit with a a single from
Kloey Hamblen.
Reagan Wiehe also reached base with a walk in an otherwise quiet offensive outing.
Sydney Chubbuck started strong on the mound, allowing only three hits.
Sage Issacs followed, giving up just one run, and
Emberlyn Medsker added a strikeout to round out a solid pitching performance.

The Bobcats recorded three hits—singles by
Kloey Hamblen and
Eva Schultz, and a double from
Reagan Wiehe.

Emily Vannatta started on the mound, allowing just five hits.
Emberlyn Medsker gave up only one run in relief, and
Sage Serdinsky added a strikeout to close the game.
