(Bellevue, Neb.)- The Peru State Softball Team fell in their non-conference game at Bellevue on Wednesday night. The Bobcats are now 9-27 overall.

The Bobcats got on the board in the second inning when
Kaelyn Hamblen delivered a single to center field, driving in
Reagan Wiehe for the team's first run. In the third inning,
Kloey Hamblen added another run, scoring on a fielder's choice.

Offensively, the Bobcats tallied four hits.
Ellie Ohlde led the way with two hits, while
Reagan Wiehe and
Kaelyn Hamblen each contributed one.

On the mound,
Emily Vannatta turned in a strong performance as the starting pitcher, allowing just five hits and recording three strikeouts.

Next: The Bobcats will be home this weekend, playing #9 Central Methodist on April 18
th and Baker on April 19
th. The team will play at 1 and 3pm each day.
