(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State Men's Basketball team had a notable 76-60 victory over the Grand View Vikings on Wednesday night in the Heart Men's Basketball Conference Quarterfinals, presented by WinWon. The Bobcats advanced to the Semifinals and will face off with the Graceland Yellowjackets on Saturday, March 1st at 2:00pm.
The game commenced with Grand View taking an early lead, concluding the first half ahead at 31-28. However, the Bobcats, led by the outstanding performance of Carlos Hines who scored 27 points, rallied back strongly in the second half. Hines, who was also the top rebounder with 10 rebounds and led in steals with 3, played a crucial role in shifting the momentum in favor of Peru State Bobcats.
Noteworthy contributions also came from Chris Peoples, who topped the assists chart with 3 assists, and Aaron Miller, who added 9 points and 9 rebounds.
