(Peru, Neb.)- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Winter Sports Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday, November 25. The Peru State Cheer team had four athletes earn the award.
 
Student-Athletes must achieve a minimum grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, have reached the eligibility requirements and been at their institution for a year to be qualified for the award.
 
Grace Greenwood (Sr., Chappell, Neb.) earned the award for the second time with Quinton Rowell (So., Raytown, Mo.), Kasha Gartner (So., Beatrice, Neb.) and Delana Dotson (So., Omaha, Neb.) each earning the award for the first time.
