(Peru, Neb.) – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Cheer Scholar-Athletes on Thursday, March 28. The Peru State cheer team had three athletes earn the award.
 
Student-Athletes must achieve a minimum grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, have reached the eligibility requirements and been at their institution for a year to be qualified for the award.
 
Carson Vinsky, a senior from Murreita, Calif., Grace Greenwood, a junior from Chappell, Neb., and Isabella Watkins, a senior from Omaha, Neb., each earned the award.
