(Cedar Rapids, Iowa)- In an impressive basketball display at Mount Mercy, Peru State College's Bobcats clinched a victory against the Mustangs with a final score of 73-59 on February 15, 2025. This victory marks another highlight in the Bobcats' stellar season, now boasting a record of 20-6 overall and 16-6 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
Ty Griggs had an impressive 16 points, solidifying his role as a key player for Peru State. Additional notable contributions came from
Carlos Hines with 14 points and
Chris Peoples with 10 points. Peoples also excelled on the defensive end, leading the team with two assists and one steal.
The first half concluded with a 39-30 lead for Peru State. The Bobcats further expanded their lead in the second half, with consistent scoring, particularly from
Christian Tidiane and continued contributions from Griggs.
Aaron Miller, depicted as a significant force on the defensive end, with six rebounds and one steal. Additional contributors included Stephen Coleman and
