(Peru, Neb.)- the Peru State College Women's Basketball Bobcats faced off against the Bethany Swedes in Peru, Neb. Despite a valiant effort, the Peru State Bobcats fell to Bethany with a final score of 80-70.

The game started with Peru State's Kylie Diaz showcasing her scoring prowess, hitting a 3-pointer to open the scoring. Throughout the first period, the Bobcats and Swedes exchanged leads, with notable three-point shooting from both Kylie Diaz of Peru State and Hannah Moss of Bethany. By the end of the first quarter, Bethany held a slight lead of 22-21. Peru State kept the game tight with significant free throws from Taydem Miller, but a 3-pointer by Bethany extended their lead, bringing the halftime score to 42-39 in favor of Bethany.
