(Fulton, Mo.)- The Peru State volleyball team dropped a tough four-set match to William Woods (Mo.) on Friday night inside Anderson Arena. The Bobcats took the second set convincingly but ultimately fell 24-26, 25-11, 22-25, 22-25.
Eden Moore led the Bobcats' attack with 15 kills on an impressive .367 hitting percentage. Kalolaine Pasikala added 10 kills while hitting .261, and Shealie Wiebers chipped in eight kills and 14 digs to go along with a steady defensive performance.
Setter Sami Chesley directed the offense with 28 assists, while Teodora Bulatovic added seven assists and three service aces off the bench. Kennedy Miller provided a strong presence at the net, tallying four aces and six block assists for 10 total points.
As a team, Peru State hit .229 with 47 kills, 43 assists, and nine service aces. The Bobcats recorded 57 digs and seven team blocks.
