The Peru State Bobcats women's basketball team narrowly lost to the Graceland Yellowjackets, 75-80, on January 10, 2025. Despite strong individual performances, the Bobcats couldn't overcome a late rally by Graceland.The Bobcats are now 3-8 in the Heart of America Conference and 5-10 overall.
Hailey Ingram led the Bobcats in the first half with 10 points, while Savannah Bingham grabbed five rebounds. However, the Bobcats trailed 43-34 at halftime as Graceland had a balanced offensive attack.
In the second half, Kylie Diaz and Natasha Deal each scored nine points, helping the Bobcats keep the game close. However, Graceland held off the Bobcats' comeback efforts to secure the 80-75 win.
