The Peru State Bobcats suffered a narrow 79-76 loss to the Graceland Yellowjackets in a matchup.The The Bobcats are now 8-3 in the Heart of America Conference and 12-3 overall.
Devin Tomlinson led the Bobcats with 14 points and three rebounds, while Aaron Miller and Ty Griggs each grabbed four rebounds in the first half. Donzell Johnson added nine points and Carlos Hines chipped in eight as the Bobcats trailed 43-40 at halftime.
In the second half, Hines took over with 19 points and three assists, fueling a comeback attempt. However, the Bobcats struggled with foul trouble, limiting their chances to close the gap. Despite a strong push in the final moments, Graceland held on for the win.
