The Peru State Bobcats women's basketball team dropped a hard-fought game to the Clarke Pride, losing 91-81. Despite a strong second-half effort, the Bobcats couldn't overcome a 42-27 halftime deficit. The Bobcats are now 3-7 in the Heart of America Conference and 5-9 overall.
Natasha Deal led the Bobcats with 25 points, three rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Erison Vonderschmidt added 13 points and six rebounds, while Savannah Bingham contributed 12 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Hailey Ingram chipped in 11 points, three rebounds, and five assists.
The Bobcats will return home to take on the Graceland Yellowjackets on January 8th at 5:30pm.
