The Peru State Bobcats held off a late surge from the Clarke Pride to secure an 82-78 win in an exciting Men's basketball game. Leading 40-32 at halftime, the Bobcats relied on strong performances across the board to maintain their advantage. Despite Clarke's push in the second half, the Bobcats' took the win. The The Bobcats are now 8-2 in the Heart of America Conference and 12-2 overall, the best start to a season since joining the Heart of America Confernce.
Devin Tomlinson was the standout, scoring 21 points with six rebounds, four steals, and a block. Stephen Coleman Jr. added 13 points, while Donzell Johnson contributed 12 points and four rebounds. Aaron Miller chipped in with 11 points and nine rebounds.
The Bobcats will return home to take on the Graceland Yellowjackets on January 8th at 7:30pm.
