(Parkville, Mo.)- The Peru State Men's Basketball team fell to the Park Pirates on Saturday, January 25
th, 70-72. The Bobcats are now 12-5 in the Heart of America Conference and 16-5 overall.
The Bobcats started strong, leading 38-36 at halftime.
Carlos Hines led the charge with 12 points and two assists in the first half, while
Aaron Miller added 11 points and two rebounds. Christiane Tidiane and
Amir Poat contributed on the boards, combining for nine rebounds.
In the second half, Hines added 11 more points, while Miller chipped in 8. Despite their efforts, the Pirates surged in the final moments to take the win.
Hines finished with 25 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Miller scored 19 points with 5 rebounds, and
Chris Peoples added 11 points. Poat posted 7 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists, while Tidiane finished with 4 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.
