Box Score (Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State Women's Basketball Team fell to the Missouri Valley Vikings on Saturday afternoon, 71-84. The Bobcats are now 4-11 in the Heart of America Conference and 6-13 overall.
 
In the first half, the Bobcats found themselves trailing 31-39 at halftime. Natasha Deal led the Bobcats in the first half, contributing 10 points in the first half. Kylie Diaz also had a strong showing with eight points, helping to keep the Bobcats within striking distance.
 
Coming out of halftime, the Bobcats put together a spirited third quarter as they worked to narrow the deficit. Kylie Diaz led the charge with an impressive 13 points in the period, giving her a total of 21 points for the game. Diaz also added six rebounds, five assists, and three steals.
 
Hailey Ingram stepped up in the second half, scoring 12 points and making crucial plays for the Bobcats. Ingram also contributed six assists, four rebounds, and two steals, helping to facilitate the offense and support her teammates. However, the Vikings' offense proved to be too much for the Bobcats in the final minutes of the game.
 
Natasha Deal finished with 16 points, four rebounds, and three steals, continuing her strong play for Peru State. Despite the strong individual efforts from Deal, Diaz, and Ingram, the Bobcats were unable to overcome the Vikings' scoring attack, and they ultimately fell 71-84.
