(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State Volleyball team defeated the Clarke University Pride in an exciting 3-1 matchup on Saturday, September 28
th. The Bobcats are now 6-11 overall and 2-4 in the Heart of America Conference.
The Bobcats started out the first set strong with multiple kills from
Kalolaine Pasikala, Raevyn Russel and
Kalyssa Fox. The Pride took a big lead through the Bobcats efforts, Clarke takes the first set, 25-22. In the second set, the Bobcats came out strong with a block from
Eden Moore and
Kennedy Miller. The teams went back and forth before the Bobcats began to pull away with a lead.
Kalolaine Pasikala had five kills with Raevyn Russel and
Addison Schneider having three kills as the Bobcats took the second set, 25-19.

In the third set, the Bobcats took a quick lead with
Eden Moore having the first three kills for the Bobcats. The Pride struggled to close the gap as Moore had six kills in the set. The Bobcats took set three 25-20. The Bobcats struggled to start the fourth set but showed resilience and closed the gap with the Pride. The teams battled to win the set. Raevyn Russel had four kills with
Eden Moore adding three as the Bobcats took a commanding lead and won the set 25-17.

Eden Moore led the Bobcats with 12 kills hitting a .400 against the Pride. Raevyn Russel had 11 kills, 23 digs and two blocks.
Kalolaine Pasikala had 11 kills with 10 digs and three service aces.
Addison Schneider had eight kills and two blocks in the match.
Kalyssa Fox had seven kills and two blocks for the Bobcats.

Allie Schneider had 24 assists and six digs with
Samantha Chesley having 23 assists and 15 digs against the Pride.
Emily Sherman added seven digs with
Ryan White adding six in the match.
