(Bellevue, Neb.)- The Peru State Baseball Team traveled to Bellevue, Nebraska to take one the Bellevue Bruins on Friday, April 5^th. The Bobcats fell in their two nine-inning games against the Bruins.
 
Game 1- Peru State 3 – Bellevue 11
 
Xavier Solla scored the first run for the Bobcats in game 1 after a double by Will Reynolds. In the fifth inning, Randy Jimenez hit a home run to left field. Angel Andrades hit a home run for the Bobcats in the 7^th inning as well.  The Bobcats had six hits with Gustavo Rivera having two and Xavier Solla and Will Reynolds each having one along with Randy Jimenez and Angel Andrades's home runs.
 
Dylan Pavletich pitched five innings for the Bobcats, getting charged with eight hits and five runs but having three strikeouts. Tobin Wingender pitched one inning, giving up two hits and four runs. Hunter Abney pitched for two innings, only allowing one hit and two runs while having three strikeouts.
 
Game 2- Peru State 0 – Bellevue 10
 
The Bobcats had four hits against the Bruins. Antonio Benitez, Angel Andrades, Randy Jimenez and Will Reynolds each had a hit.
 
Kevin Diaz pitched for five innings, getting charged with nine hits and six runs but had six Bruin strikeouts. Josue Vega pitched one inning only allowed one hit and had one strikeout.
