(Atchison, Kan.)- The Peru State Softball team took on the Benedictine Ravens in Atchison, Kansas on Wednesday, April 5
th.

Game 1- Peru State 0 – Benedictine 8

Macie Green had a triple to center field for the Bobcats. The team had 17 putouts and four assists against the Ravens.

Jessica Filkin pitched 2.1 innings for the Bobcats only giving up four hits and two runs. Emily Vanatta pitched 3.1 innings, getting charged with eight hits and six runs.

The Bobcats first run came when a Raven wild pitch sent
Leann Hawkins in to score. She was followed by a single by
Jami Mans that sent in
Kylee Dieckmann to score. LeAnn Hawkins and
Kylee Dieckmann also each had a hit in game two.

Emberlyn Medsker pitched one inning for the Bobcats and got charged with three hits and four runs but had one Raven strikeout.
Jessica Filkin pitched four innings in game two getting charged with seven hits and six runs with four Raven strikeouts.
