(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State Softball team fell to the Graceland Yellowjackets on saturday, April 6
th in Peru, Nebraska.

Game 1- Peru State 1 – Graceland 9

The Bobcats had five hits against the Yellowjackets.
Casidy Sipek and
Autumn Dixon each had one.
Leann Hawkins had three hits for the Bobcats. In the fifth inning,
Danielle Houlden had an RBI after grounding out to short stop to allow
Leann Hawkins to score.

Emily Vanatta pitched five innings for the Bobcats, getting charged with 15 hits and nine runs but getting two strikeouts for the Bobcats.

Game 2- Peru State 2 – Graceland 12

The Bobcats had six hits in game two.
Leann Hawkins,
Macie Green,
Ellie Ohlde, Kylee Weis and
Alanea Babb each had a hit.
Camryn Craddock had two hits against the Yellowjackets. In the third inning,
Sophia Summers singled to right field that sent
Camryn Craddock to score the first run for the Bobcats of the second game. In the fifth inning,
Camryn Craddock scored on a fielder's choice.

Jessica Filkin pitched five innings for the Bobcats. Filkin was charged with 14 hits and 12 runs but had five Yellowjacket strikeouts.

The Bobcats will travel to Culver-Stockton on Monday, April 8
th. Games are set for 2Â and 4Â pm.
