(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State Softball Team played the Clarke Pride at home on April 21. The Bobcats battled through but fell to the Pride in their double header.

The Bobcats had five hits against the Pride in game one with
Leann Hawkins,
Ellie Ohlde,
Casidy Sipek,
Kaelyn Hamblen and
Danielle Houlden each having a hit.
Casidy Sipek's double to left field scored
Ellie Ohlde for the Bobcats.

Jessica Filkin pitched 6.1 innings, allowing eight hits and four runs but also having three strikeouts.
Emberlyn Medsker pitched .2 innings, only allowing one hit.

Game 2- Peru State 6 – Clarke 8

The Bobcats had an exciting fourth inning, scoring four runs.
Casidy Sipek doubled to left field to score Autumn Dixson followed by a double to left by
Jami Mans to score
Casidy Sipek.
Alanea Babb it a triple to score
Jami Mans then scoring on an error by the Pride. In the fifth inning,
Casidy Sipek hit a double to right center to score

Emily Vanatta pitched five innings allowing seven hits and six runs but having four strikeouts.
Emberlyn Medsker pitched .2 innings, allowing five hits and two runs with
Jessica Filkin pitching 1.1 innings and only allowing 1 hit and having one strikeout.
