(Peru, Neb.)- The Peru State Softball team fell to the William Penn Statesman on Saturday, April 27
th in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Game 1- Peru State 0 – William Penn 8

In game 1,
Alanea Babb hit a single to center field for the Bobcats. The team had 13 putouts with two assists against the Statesman.

Emberlyn Medsker pitched four innings allowing 11 hits and eight runs but having one strikeout.

Game 2- Peru State 3 – William Penn 6

In the fifth inning,
Kylee Dieckmann hit a single up the middle that scored
Harmony Franke and advanced
Leann Hawkins to third.
Leann Hawkins then stole home for a second run for the Bobcats. In the final inning, Catrina Dixon scored on a Statesman scoring error.

Harmony Franke pitched six innings allowing eight hits and six runs with one strikeout.
