(Marshall, Mo.)- The Peru State Softball team dropped their two games against the Missouri Valley Vikings on Saturday, March 30
th.

Game 1- Peru State 7 – Missouri Valley 9

The Bobcats scored their first two runs in the third inning after a single to center field by
Jami Mans. Viking errors sent Mans and LeAnn Hawkins to score. A double by
Kaelyn Hamblen scored Maci Green and
Casidy Sipek in the fourth inning. In the fifth,
Casidy Sipek doubled to center to allow
Ellie Ohlde and
Kylee Dieckmann to score. Maci Green then singled to left field to score
Casidy Sipek.

Jessica Filkin pitched 2.2 innings, getting charged with eight hits and eight runs.
Emily Vannatta was charged with six hits and one run but had one strikeout in the 2.2 innings she pitched.

Jami Mans then doubled to center in the fifth inning to once again score
Kaylee Harsh.
Ellie Ohlde had a sacrifice hit to third, scoring LeAnn Hawkins to score.

Emily Vannatta pitched 2.1 innings, getting charged with five hits and three runs.
Jessica Filkin was charged with three hits and three runs on the one inning she pitched.
